Consumer devices
Phones, tablets, wearables, and audio hardware. Almost all carry cells, so the declaration is settled before a carrier is booked.
Industry logistics · Electronics
Consumer devices, components, and battery-bearing hardware shipped from Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Suzhou. We screen the dangerous-goods profile, rebuild the carton plan where it will not survive the lane, and map HS codes per SKU before customs sees the entry.

Cargo profile
Electronics shipping from China is rarely one commodity. The mode, packing, and declaration change with what is inside the carton.
Phones, tablets, wearables, and audio hardware. Almost all carry cells, so the declaration is settled before a carrier is booked.
Reels, trays, and populated boards needing ESD-safe packing and moisture-barrier bags that stay sealed through consolidation.
Bulkier units where chargeable weight, not gross weight, decides whether air freight still makes commercial sense.
Multi-supplier cartons consolidated in Shenzhen so one reconciled invoice and one HS mapping reach customs.
Where electronics shipments stall
A power bank in the accessory box or a built-in battery that never reached the packing list becomes a carrier refusal at the airport. We ask for the battery relationship at intake, not at pickup.
Light, bulky electronics price on volumetric weight. We recalculate against the real carton plan so the number does not move after collection.
One code covering six different SKUs invites a customs query and a held entry. Codes are mapped per line item before filing.
Intake checklist
Electronics shipping from China prices badly on guesses. These six inputs are what separate a quote that holds from one that moves after pickup.
| Input | Used for | State |
|---|---|---|
| Product spec sheet | HS classification and dangerous-goods screening | Needed |
| Battery chemistry & watt-hour rating | Carrier acceptance and the packing declaration | Critical |
| UN38.3 test summary + SDS | Air and sea acceptance for cells and packs | Needed |
| Carton dimensions & gross weight | Chargeable weight and the air-versus-sea comparison | Needed |
| Commercial invoice & packing list | Customs entry at destination | Needed |
| Importer of record details | Duty structure and the broker handoff | Needed |
How it works
Each line item is screened for battery content, ESD handling, and HS code before we quote a mode. Exceptions surface here, not at the airport.
Cartons are collected from Huaqiangbei, a Dongguan factory, or a Suzhou plant, then counted, photographed, and re-packed where the outer carton will not survive the lane.
Priority air for launch stock, consolidated sea for planned replenishment — with the transport declaration matched to what is actually in the box.
HS codes, duty, and the broker handoff are prepared before arrival, so cargo is not sitting at destination while paperwork catches up.
FAQ
Battery acceptance, chargeable weight, and consolidation — answered before you book.
Yes, once the profile is confirmed. Send the chemistry, watt-hour rating, cell count, and whether the battery is installed in the device, packed alongside it, or shipping standalone — that relationship changes the declaration, the packing, and which carriers will accept the shipment. We review it before quoting rather than discovering it at the airport.
It depends on value density and the date the stock has to sell. High-value, low-volume electronics often absorb air freight comfortably, and a missed launch window usually costs more than the rate difference. Bulky, lower-margin items normally belong on a consolidated ocean booking. We price both against your target date instead of defaulting to one.
Shenzhen — including same-day pickup around the Huaqiangbei component market — plus Dongguan, Guangzhou, and Suzhou. Multiple supplier pickups can be combined into a single consolidated booking at the Shenzhen warehouse.
Carriers bill the greater of actual gross weight and volumetric weight, and the volumetric divisor differs between air and express services. Light, bulky electronics almost always price on volume, so we recalculate from your real carton dimensions at intake and show which figure the quote is built on.
Yes. The Shenzhen warehouse receives cartons from multiple suppliers, reconciles counts against your purchase orders, applies labels, and consolidates into one booking with a single commercial invoice and per-SKU HS mapping.
